20 Twitter Avatars that Should Never Be Changed

We discussed about the importance of Twitter Avatars on here. So, I decided to put togther a list of remarkable avatars from my “Following” list. These avatars are the ones that attract my attention right away, the real “Twitter Eye Magnets”. But of course, content of their tweets are part of what made their avatars good.

Tell me what you think about them, and follow them if you haven’t yet!

The list below is in random order.

tortue @Tortue

Current colleague from 360 Digital Influence Ogilvy. He tweets mainly about social media, tech, and news. Unfortunately he changed his avatar.

@nictinworth

Followed him because of his passion on data visualization and graphic design. Digital Director for Fluid Hong Kong who interacts a lot on Twitter.

@dda

French living in Hong Kong and China who doesn’t think he’s a French. Like his avatar because it actually looks exactly like him.

@jmis

I assume this is a picture of herself, the colour attracts so much attention. I like her twitpics on food and things she sees in Hong Kong.

@myshiren

My sister who likes to RT my tweets, that’s basically what she does on Twitter.

@richiereverley

Haven’t really had a chance to start a conversation with him, but his avatar is very interesting.

@fionawong0501

Great avatar. I like her twitpics about food in Hong Kong and the restaurants and bars she goes to.

@adalinelau

Not a fan of avatars that don’t users’ faces, but after meeting Adaline, she actually looks like the avatar, so it’s all good. She likes to @ reply to people.

@admance

He shares great advertising pieces, also a clear, and happy avatar.

@Donnette

Tweets about mostly news, this black and white avatar, plus her simple Twitter handle always grab my attention.

@teedubya

Creative and remarkable avatar. Tweets about social media.

@gabyu

French Designer based out of Shanghai. His avatar is very effective in telling audience where he is. (Chinese words: Finally back to Shang Hai!)

@christinelu

Lovely avatar, founder of the china business network, always engage and tweets about live events.

happyhair_bigger @nikipaniki

Digital person for Consumer Marketing practice in Ogilvy Singapore. Cute avatar, easy to remember, and she often interacts with her followers.

@raiha

Her avatar is very easy to remember. She tweets about social media and share news about her Tweetups.

@christianfea

Friendly avatar. He tweets about Twitter, and other social media channels for business.

@angelaleowgray

Cute avatar. I enjoy seeing her twitpics of Hong Kong, and food. Also she is very good at taking pictures of strangers on the street.

@jansen

Again, I’m not a big fan for avatar that hides users’ face, but jansen’s avatar is absolutely remarkable. Also, he’s probably the biggest tech blogger in Hong kong.

@thomascrampton

Don’t think I need further description on Tom. His avatar very well representing himself, and definitely shouldn’t change it because I wouldn’t see his tweets if he did.

@shamir

Based in Paris, Sr Product Manager of Flickr, and his avatar clearly shows it.

Now tell me about my avatar, should I change mine?
