Air New Zealand is one of my favorite airlines in Asia-Pacific for their marketing strategy in these few years. They’ve introduced brand icon Rico and they’ve been very active on new media to engage and interact with their community. They recently made a new video featuring Rico and Snoop Dogg, published around 3 days ago and have got more than 200K views on Youtube.
Most of the previous augmented reality cases were executed on personal devices (e.g. computer/ mobile phone camera), this one is a huge public one that’s set up in London, Victoria. Combining sex element in this campaign, whenever someone stand on the sign, Lynx team will trigger the augmented reality sexy lady to stand next to this person and that everyone sees it on the huge public screen. Amazing idea!
