LG viral video: The Smart Thief

This is an extremely clever video created by LG for their latest “World’s Slimmest Television”. Video shows the thief directly facing the security cameras as he walks out the electronic shop, the TV is so slim that you can’t see him holding the TV until the last camera.

    The video shows the thief directly facing the security cameras as he walks out the electronic shop, however, the TV is so slim that you can’t see him holding the TV until the last camera. Where he is then chased by a security guard.  Nice work though LG, another successful ad under their belt, which will no doubt spark some interesting conversation online. The ad has been shared some 30,000 times in the past week alone. I think it’s safe to say we can expect to see this one loitering around the top of the Viral Video Chart for some time yet.

    The whole concept of the video is perfectly suited with the product
    qualities: the slimness of the video is why the thief can “steal” it in
    that weird way; because when you see it the first time you don’t notice the “hidden
    TV”, there’s a very high rewatch factor making the view count of the
    video even higher and making you want to share it with other people.
